The Torch's mission is to connect people with God and others. We encourage and teach each individual the importance of developing a personal relationship with God through prayer, studying His word and serving with your time, talent, testimony and treasure. We want to celebrate the things that God has done in our lives and encourage others with our testimony.

A few months ago I was in an emotionally unhealthy relationship and it was effecting my daughter. I prayed and prayed that GOD would give us an affordable and mostly a safe place to live. Like any one would be, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to pay the bills and I didn't want to disrupt my teenage daughters' school and the friendships she had formed. Also I didn't want to walk away from the money and work I spent on a home that wasn't even mine, plus there was this huge credit card debt that was in my name alone. If there was a fear---I had it. I prayed and prayed for over 2 years, but GOD answered my prayers better than I could have hoped. I was praying and telling God how much I could afford for rent plus utilities. I found the basement apartment w/utilities included and it came out to the exact dollar amount I said I could afford. How's that for an answered prayer:)!! My daughter didn't even have to change school buses let alone schools.
